Future Plans:
Negotiations for contracts expiring in 2017 are already underway.

SCPPA agreed to advance funds for a portion of the uprating of 17 hydroelectric generating units at the Hoover Dam Power Plant in exchange for capacity and energy allocations associated with the uprating.

Generation capacity was increased from 1,488 MW to 1,951 MW.

SCPPA members hold capacity entitlements of an 18.68% in the uprating project.

Paid $27 million to Western Area Power Administration in advance.
