The Milford Wind Project is located in Beaver and Millard Counties in Utah, and was built in two phases with 165 wind turbines as described above, with Phase II located to the north of Phase I.
The remainder of the Project includes concrete foundations, permanent access roads and turbine pads, an under-ground collection system, SCADA system, four permanent meteorological towers, an operation and maintenance building, and a facility substation.
Power is delivered by way of an 88-mile-long, 345-kV transmission line with a switching station at the connection between the transmission line and the Intermountain Power Project (IPP) Substation north of Delta, Utah.
